WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM SATURDAY TO 2 PM PDT SUNDAY...
WHAT...Northerly winds 20-30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph over the Sacramento Valley and Foothills. East to northeast gusts up to 55 mph possible over the Sierra at higher elevations and through gaps and canyons.
WHERE...Sacramento Valley, Northern San Joaquin Valley, the Sierra Nevada, and Southern Cascades.
WHEN...From 8 AM Saturday to 2 PM PDT Sunday.
IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Fire weather watch is in effect for much of the advisory area. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
